BROCCOLI AND HOLLANDAISE TART

Broccoli Hollandaise Tart

Ingredients
  

Hollandaise Sauce

  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 185 Grams Melted Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Peppers
  • 1/2 Lemon Juice
  • 1/8 Cup Chives
  • 1/2 Lemon Zest

Tart

  • 1 Roll puff pastry
  • 10 Tenderstem Broccoli
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tsp Viking Salt
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp Pine Nuts

Instructions
 

  • Start by washing your chives and broccoli and set aside.
  • To make the hollandaise, melt the butter and set aside making sure to keep the butter warm. Start by separating 2egg yolks and add in a bowl with lemon juice and Dijon Mustard and mix. Once mixed place the bowl over a small sauce pan with hot water and whisk constantly while pouring the butter slowly. Mix until pale and thick . You can test this by dipping a spoon inside the hollandaise sauce and slide your finger across the spoon if the sauce Dont drip and it stays where it is without covering back the crossed section it will be an indication that your hollandaise is ready.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix.
  • Marinate your broccoli with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Viking salt and paprika mix and set aside.
  • Roll a ready made pastry and pinch the edgies to creat a crust. Spread your hollandaise sauce and place your marinated broccoli on top and sprinkle pine nuts.
  • Bake for 20 min on 200C
