Salted nut crackers and chocolate bars
Ingredients
Nut crackers base
- 150 grams Plain salted crackers
- 30 grams Soft brown sugar
- 50 grams Smooth peanut butter
- 25 grams Smooth almond butter
- 25 grams Cashew butter
- 50 grams Melted butter
Top layer
- 200 grams Mixed nuts (cashew,pecan,almonds,peanuts)
- 60 grams Dried cranberries
- 60 grams Roughly crushed salted crackers
- 100 grams 70% Dark chocolate
- 400 grams Sweetened condensed milk
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon powder
Instructions
Cracker base
- In a food processor start by adding your salted crackers, brown sugar, nut butter and melted butter then mi until you achieve a sandy mixture.
- Place the mixture in a tin that has been lined up with a parchment paper then press the crackers mix into it to crest a smooth layer.
Top layer
- Scattered the mix nuts and cranberries. Then roughly crush the salted crackers and chop your dark chocolate and and scatter on top as well. Pour 1 can of sweetened condensed milk over the top to cover the whole tray making sure to press down any visible crackers to avoid them from burning when baking then sprinkle cinnamon.
- Place the tray in a preheated oven at 160C and bake for 40 minutes.Allow the tray bake to cool down for at least 20 to 30 minutes before slicing.Enjoy 🙂
