Ingredients
  

Granny cake

  • 225 Grams Self Raising Flour
  • 25 Grams Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 55 Grams Chopped Walnuts
  • 70 Grams Raisins
  • 15 ML Golden Syrup
  • 150 ML Milk

Golden Syrup butter

  • 1/2 Cup Salted butter Room Temperature
  • 2 Tbsp Golden Syrup
  • 1/4 Tsp Cinamon
  • 1/4 Tsp All Spice

Instructions
 

Granny Cake

  • Preheat the oven to 180C.
  • Grease your cake tin.
  • Start by adding all the dry ingredients including the walnuts and raisins.
  • Add the wet ingredients and beat until everything is well combined.
  • Poor the mixture in the cake tin and bake for 40-45 minutes in a preheated 180C oven.
  • Serve Warm with butter.

Golden Butter

  • In a bowl combine the soft butter with golden syrup, all spiceand cinamon.
  • Mix until everything is combined and place it in the fridge to chill before serving.
